Ruairiadh O'Connell and Laurence Taylor present Three new works for the Bureau

In September the Deuxième Bureau will see the first collaboration between two friends Ruairiadh O'Connell and Laurence Taylor where they will exhibit three new works:

Untitled, 2011; screen print on fifty percent polyester film, fifty percent aluminium, retaining ninety percent body heat, offering emergency protection in all weather conditions, waterproof, windproof, will not crack, mildew or shrink, compact for easy storage, ideal for outdoor activities, approximately two hundred and ten by one hundred and thirty centimetres.

Hat For Parisa, 2011; felt, cardboard box and paper, approximately 80 x 30 x 30 centimetres.

Ruairiadh O'Connell is an artist based in London, he will be graduating from the Stadelschule in October 2011. Previous shows include: Retina Burns, Halle Fur Kunst with Hermes und der Pfau, Luneburg, Cold Society, KW69 at Kunst-Werke, Berlin, Sticks and Stones, Peres Projects, Berlin Mitte. Fourthcoming is a solo show at New Galerie Paris in December.

Laurence Taylor lives and works in London. He co-founded and ran Parade a sporadic and now defunct project space based in London. He is currently editing a monograph on Grey Plover as well as compiling Good Times: An Unofficial Anthology of Parade Space.
